Pawlenty has proposed, will result in cuts to core city services and weaken a city's economic health. If you value your city services, contact the governor and your legislators and tell them that cutting LGA is the wrong direction for Minnesota.

The City of Worthington reduced expenditures such as public safety programs and park and recreation programs. The city has delayed replacing a police vehicle. On the revenue side, the city’s levy will increase 2.9% in 2010, and park rental fees, airport hangar fees, and campground fees will increase. The City has also reduced its reserve fund.
