The City of Le Sueur reduced its expenditures by 2.5% to cope with its 2010 aid cuts. Reductions came in the areas of park maintenance and civic engagement programs. The city has lost three management positions through its Early Retirement Incentive program that it does not intend to replace. The city has also delayed street and sidewalk reconstruction projects. Both union-union and union wages have been frozen. On the revenue side, the city plans to increase transit fares.
